How Do You Blaze?

Part of the new additions to Disney Springs Town Center this year is Blaze Pizza. Being an Italian girl and originally from the Pittsburgh area, I wasn't sure what to expect from fast-food pizza. I FINALLY had the opportunity to try it and WOW! Fast, fresh, friendly, frugal, and FUN sum up Blaze Pizza.

The Food

So, "How Do You Blaze?"
1. Choose your pizza.
Plain, One Topping, Signature pizzas or Build Your Own. All are under $10!!
High-rise or Gluten-free crusts available (+$2.00)

2. Pick your toppings.
No extra charge!

Sauces: classic red, spicy red, white cream, garlic pesto.

Cheeses: goat, gorgonzola, fresh mozzarella, parmesaon, ricotta, shredded mozzarella, vegan cheese.

Meats: applewood bacon, grilled chicken, Italian meatballs, Italian sausage, pepperoni, smoked ham.

Veggies: artichokes, banana peppers, black olives, cherry tomatoes, chopped garlic, fresh basil, green bell peppers, jalapenos, mushrooms, oregano, pineapple, red oinions, roasted red peppers, caramelized onions, spinach, zucchini.

Finishes: arugula, BBQ sauce, pesto, olive oil, ranch.

3. Pizzas are baked in 180 seconds!

I built my own pizza. As many of my followers know, I've lost a lot of weight over the past 2 years (about 150 lbs.). I am very aware of my food choices. This is especially difficult when dining out. Blaze has calorie information available on every single item. I sincerely appreciate the fact that there are NO HIDDEN CALORIES! It also helped me to make really good choices for my own dietary needs.

My custom pizza included: regular crust, 1 ball fresh mozzarella, ricotta, grilled chicken, smoked ham, artichokes, banana peppers, cherry tomatoes, fresh basil, mushrooms, oregano, roasted red peppers, caramelized onions, spinach, zucchini.

I call it a salad pizza. It was LOADED and DELICIOUS! Guilt free!

The only issue was that the thin crust got a little bit wet in the center from the water off of the fresh mozzarella and all the moisture from piling on the vegetables. It was still wonderful.

The Decor

Blaze has a bright, open feel with a wall of glass. There is an open kitchen for Guests to watch pizzas being made.

Blaze has both indoor and outdoor seating. Most seats are bench style with no backs. A few booths with back support are available along the walls.
I highly recommend a stop at Blaze Pizza. There's something for everyone!
