PUPPIESSS... and PIXIE DUST!!If you're looking for some great, figure flattering dresses for your next Disney trip or just for day to day happiness (who wouldn't be be happy in pretty Disney dresses?), look no further. Torrid has a beautiful selection of not only Disney themed dresses, shirts, and other items. But, they also have designs inspired by both Star Wars AND Marvel (both now owned by Disney). For those of you who are fans of the Disney "Dapper Days," there are MANY styles that would be perfect for those event days as well.
If you wear these dresses to WDW, I can tell you from experience that you will be stopped ALL DAY LONG and complimented and asked where you got your dress!Over the past year, I've lost approximately 90 lbs. Of course, this requires a new wardrobe. What better choice for a Princess who lives next to Walt Disney World, visits the Parks and Resorts at least weekly, writes a Disney blog, and is part of the Disney Dream Girls Podcast, than a wardrobe inspired by Disney??! The bonus is that these dresses are extremely figure flattering!
If you are not familiar with it, Torrid is the full-figured sister store to Hot Topic. To check out all the great Torrid fashions, go to their website, Torrid.com, and look for the specials. Brick and mortar stores are also available. Sales may vary.
Right now on the Torrid Website many items, including Clearance, are Buy Two Get One Free with CODE: MERRYMERRY!
I'm not remotely a model, but here are how the dresses fit for me. I absolutely love them and feel extremely pretty wearing them. They are a great inspiration to keep going with my new healthier eating lifestyle. (I find the sizing to be very generous. Keep that in mind when ordering. I'm approximately 5' 1" and am wearing a size 28/Torrid size 5 in most items. Everything except the Mickey Comic Scuba Dress, has a lot of extra room.)
Retro Chic Surplice Swing Dress
Mickey Mouse Comic Scuba Dress
The Little Mermaid Collection Polka Dot Swing Dress
Plaid Dress (Paired with Slytherin Cardigan available at Hot Topic. My nod to Universal's Wizarding World of Harry Potter.)
From the start of princessing to the end of a long hot Florida day in the Parks, the dresses are super comfy!
