World Cup Viewing in Epcot/Air-Conditioning with BEER!

Although the US is out of the running, the WC is still going strong.  During this time, the Odyssey in Future World (near Mexico) in EPCOT plays home to a relaxing World Cup viewing center.

The Odyssey has a huge room filled with large screens broadcasting the games and news in between the games with lots of seating.

The seating includes tables, standard banquet chairs, AND big padded leather sofas and chairs..lots of them!

In addition, the center also has a snack bar with southwest wraps, hot dogs, soft pretzels, popcorn, candied nuts, chips, coke products, and a nice selection of beers.

So, guests can grab a hot dog and a beer then lounge in a big comfy chair in air-conditioning and enjoy the game.

There's also a small gift stand with WC merchandise.

Even if you are not interested in the games, the center is open during non-game times.  It's a nice quiet stop during the heat of the day.

If you are heading to EPCOT during the remainder of the games, keep in mind that you don't necessarily have to stay in your room to watch.  Also, keep it in mind for a cool place to relax and have a beer!

*The Odyssey is handicap accessible but some chairs may have to be moved around to get through.
